This is one of the pair I built for Ravi. The wood is Mahogany with a solid Mahogany baffle. The finish is hand rubbed Boiled Linseed Oil with no less than 8 coats of gloss lacquer sprayed on and rubbed out to a flat glossy finish.

This is the pair of 1801's I built for Al, also in Mahogany. Al lives in my neck of the woods so he came over and participated in the build. I showed him how the process works and he appeared to have a good time with it and enjoyed working on his own speakers.

These are curly walnut with burl with natural finish.
